Birds in New Jersey 2014
Saturday, 3 May 2014. The larger feeder is popular all day with the house sparrows.
The squirrel tried again to get at the feeder.
It made it to the top
Tried to balance itself on the top, lost its balance, and slid all the way down -- zoop! -- like a firefighter sliding down a pole.
Back to eating seeds the way normal squirrels do.
A day of birdwatching drew to a close. The sky was bright near the horizon, and had a purplish tinge above that.
Above the purple, there was still blue overhead.
