Birds in New Jersey 2014
Saturday, 19 July 2014. A few mystery birds today.
A squirrel tries again to get at the feeder.
After a few minutes, the squirrel gives up.
First time I've seen a male brown-headed cowbird eat on a feeder.
Above and to the left, a female cowbird.
The male cowbird is very aggressive, and pushes everyone else off the feeder, including the other cowbird.
Still working on keeping balanced.
Meanwhile, the halo around the finch feeder works most of the time. Here's a female house finch, NOT being chased
away by any house sparrows.
